Le Stang

A film by Lynda Paquette and Martin Parent of the Cercle des Voyageurs. Ecuador, bordered by the Pacific, crossed by the Andes and cut by the equatorial line, is a land of exceptional biodiversity and a significant cultural mosaic composed of descendants of Spanish and Indigenous ancestors, as well as 13 indigenous peoples. On the slopes of dormant volcanoes, in the heart of tropical forests, in coastal villages and the streets of Quito, the identity of each of these groups is closely tied to their territory.
