A mother and a son. One has spent her life chaining subsistence jobs in Campeche, one of the poorest states in Mexico. The other dedicated to theatre. Together, they make the stage a tool to unfold their lives at the crossroads of the violences inherited from neocolonial capitalism. Josefina Orlaineta has run forty businesses, from sandwich shops to fashion jewelry.
