CINÉ-BRUITAGE : MY VERY FIRST BURLESQUES
Culture · Friday, November 27 · 19:00 · Toulouse
CENTRE CULTUREL RENAN, 5 Chemin d'Audibert
At the intersection of sound and image, this proposal invites the audience to go behind the scenes of cinema and reveal its invisible mechanics: that of sound. Through two burlesque short films by Charlie Chaplin and George Jeske, the spectator rediscovers a wordless cinema, entirely based on gesture and rhythm. But here, the image is only a starting point: very quickly, it becomes material to play.
