Festival Résurgence X - workshop "writing systems and the public sphere"

33 Avenue Louis Mazet

The artist René-Philippe Deswattenne will begin by recalling the history of the alphabet, will explain ductus (natural gestures dictated by the nature of the tool) and will present different calligraphic approaches. After these explanations, the goal is to have fun and let your personal expression roam to make the letters dance! After the workshop, come meet the artist at the finissage of the exhibition Tout public, for ages 11 and up. Reservations required.
