Theatre - Victor Hugoat, No. 1 of French rap

Théâtre Victor Hugo, Place du Théâtre

The artist Bart presents a creation mixing humorous conference, rap and a gallery of characters to prove that Victor Hugo would have been the best of rappers if he had lived in our days. Verse after chorus, the comedian explores the life of the writer and reconstructs with the audience memorable moments such as the battle of Hernani, while invoking figures of current rap. This one-man show accessible from age 10 reconciles classical literature with urban culture in a performance awarded by the Jury prize at the ICART 2024 Plates
