Théâtre 13 - Bibliothèque, 30 rue du Chevaleret
Written in 1954 by Violette Leduc and long censored, the text “Thérèse and Isabelle” traces the absolute passion of two teenage girls in the boarding school of a northern French college. A poetic language expresses feminine sensuality and lesbian desire.
