Dark blue is a boat pushed into the whirlpools. Dark blue is to be afraid. It is to taste its own depths. Where everything blends, where the dark blue takes all the space and becomes black, oily. Dark blue is to watch the sun’s rays catching on that oil. It is to feel the day’s gold shining just beneath the surface, and to let it envelop us.
