Concert: Gabriel Pidoux&Gonzalez Buajasàn
Music · Thursday, November 12 · 19:00 · Altkirch
1 Place Xavier Jourdain
The French oboe school is among the world's most prestigious. Three great 20th-century composers — Saint-Saëns, Poulenc and Dutilleux — have notably contributed to highlighting the poetry and expressive possibilities of this instrument. To their works, two virtuosic pieces designed to dazzle will be added. Poulenc's La Mélancolie will allow audiences to appreciate the subtlety of Jorge González Buajasán's playing. Instrumental Solo Revelation at the Victoires de la Musique Classique 2020, Gabriel Pidoux has been forming a close duo with pianist Jorge Go… since 2019.
