By hearing and seeing too much, I no longer listen, I fall silent, I become desensitized to the world, I muffle the cries, mutism settles and dizziness appears. Vardhum places this sensation of dizziness at the heart of a circular world, where a cyborg character translates its resistance to the flows traversing its bodily envelope through a persistence of the vocal act. The act before language, voicing - or transposition of breath into voice through the vocal cords - tends to make physiological transcendence a musical act in itself.
