In the 80s, Christian discovers a photo of his father, recently deceased, taken in front of the Musée de l’Homme and surrounded by prominent figures of the Resistance. The names are written on the back. He knows almost nothing about his father’s life in the years before his birth forty years ago. Why did he never talk about it? Intrigued by this photo and with his wife’s help, he sets out to find clues, travels back in time, and tries to uncover buried secrets. What follows is a thrilling investigation, paced by the back-and-forth between the past and the present.
