With Jetsun Pema, former head of the Tibetan Children’s Village, the first woman to have served as Minister of Education of the government in exile, sister of the Dalai Lama. Since 1964, Mrs. Jetsun Pema has worked to develop the Tibetan Children’s Village (TCV), founded in Dharamsala, in the north of India, to ensure the education and support of Tibetan children in exile.
