[Theatre] Paradoxe

/ 1 Boulevard Berigny, Dieppe Scène Nationale

He himself says he has 'a face that doesn't allow for long silences'. With a long beard, an imposing presence, a gentle gaze and a sharp pen, Umut Köker stands out in the stand-up scene. With Paradoxe, his first show, he weaves between intimate confessions and a lucidity about the world: Turkish and Kurdish origins, childhood in a suburban tower block, rising to a building in La Défense, bachelorhood, ordinary racism. Hilarious and moving, his humor advocates for one thing: learning to look beyond appearances.
