Daguais paints the sea and marine landscapes with realism and sensitivity. His canvases of sails and sailing ships play with volumes, shadows, and light to reveal reflections, depth, and movement. Between classicism and modernity, he transposes onto the canvas the forms and colors that inspire him, creating a peaceful atmosphere inviting escape. The ocean appears alternately powerful or serene, mysterious and alive, immersing the viewer in his maritime universe.
