My life of a suitcase traces the migratory journeys of Vosges residents. This show includes 3 suitcase scenes: a suitcase from Italy, a war suitcase (on French soil, but with its share of movements) and a suitcase from Algeria. The suitcase scenes were created from life stories collected from residents of nursing homes (or through their children or relatives), who shared their stories. They tell how they arrived in the Vosges, sometimes through movements induced by war.
