Exhibition: "PIERRES EN MOUVEMENT", from vernacular to contemporary
Culture · Tuesday, October 27 · 14:00 · Rodez
Place Eugène Raynaldy, 12000 Rodez
The C.A.U.E. of Aveyron highlights stone construction, an ancestral material that seems to be regaining interest as resources run low. Composed of maquettes, materials library, tools and samples, the exhibition explores questions of raw material, reuse, traditional and contemporary techniques, know-how and local supply chains. From vernacular architecture of Aveyron to French contemporary architecture: a journey through forms, materials and territories.
