The Bellac Novel – Fanzine Print Party

Théâtre du Cloître, Rue Lafayette

Since 2025, fellow artists of the Cloître, Théo and Jennifer, are leading a literary inquiry into sheep culture in Basse-Marche: Le Roman de Bellac. Through encounters, we are building a sensitive map where intimate narratives intersect with the history of the territory and agricultural transformations. The sheep acts as a revealer: revealing mutations of rural life, tensions between transmission and disappearance, between attachment and the desire to depart, between memory and the invention of new ways of living.
