coeur doux. is a hybrid performance blending dance, puppetry, and voice for two artists. Through this piece, Léo Gras responds to the trauma of sexual violence, exploring the fragmentation of the body and the destruction of identity, with the help of Aria De La Celle, a composer-performer. The work stages the artist’s attempt to “reconnect the scattered pieces” of a broken self, and denounces the mechanisms of domination and the “gangrene” of power abuses in the world of dance.
