In 2013 in Burkina Faso, Julien Desailly meets Adama Koeta, a renowned player of the ngoni and kora. The connection between the two is as much personal as musical. They begin a collaboration blending their distinct styles: Irish music and West African music. The trio is later joined by Julien Moneret, who brings his jazz double-bass expertise to the project.
