Beni Medina hails from Havana's working-class neighborhoods, raised all his childhood on his mother's traditional songs. The artist fuses Cuban and Afro-Caribbean rhythms with contemporary urban sounds. His music is an all-inclusive journey, ranging from Cuban son to salsa, rumba, bolero, cha-cha-cha and mambo, through bachata, merengue, cumbia, kizomba, reggaeton and Latin hip-hop.
