In the 1980s, Christian discovers a photo of his father, recently deceased, taken in front of the Musée de l’Homme, surrounded by prominent Resistance figures. The names are written on the back of the photo. In fact, he knows nothing about his father’s life in the years before he was born 40 years ago. Why did he never talk about it? Intrigued by this photo, and with the help of his wife, he sets out to search for clues, goes back in time, seeks to unearth buried secrets. From there, a gripping investigation begins, paced by the back-and-forth between the past and the present.
