Dance: Let My Joy Endure

8 Place Oscar Niemeyer, Le Volcan

Choreographer Béatrice Massin is a specialist in her art. Since creating her company Fêtes galantes, she has precisely explored how baroque dance can be alive three centuries later. In 2026, she offers a revival of her famous "Que ma joie demeure", first created in 2002. The show keeps the same structure. Yet Massin amplifies its energy further, drawing on the experience she has gained. On a vivid red floor, ten performers execute glissades, rubs and falls that are typical of baroque dance, in rhythm with a music that is full and dynamic.
