Scenes from the Countryside: The Clamor of Fireflies by Joël Bastard | Sandrine Bonnaire and Erik Truffaz
Music · Tuesday, December 1 · 20:30 · Beaupréau-en-Mauges
La Loge - Beaupréau, 1 Rue Robert Schuman, Centre Culturel La Loge
The actress Sandrine Bonnaire and the great trumpeter Erik Truffaz harmonize, as two accomplices in a road-movie, to evoke the wandering of a poet-writer through the city of Montreal. He explores a note, extends it, improvises a tune or a silence in response to the author's questions. She holds the phrases, suspends or tightens them, as one strolls through the streets. Both invite us to daydream. In partnership with Maison Julien Gracq. Numbered seating. Accessible to people with visual impairments. Bar and on-site catering.
