Concertino: Adelaïde Ferrière

Espace culturel du Val Saint-Martin, Rue Jules Ferry

On the program: Adélaïde is described by the press as a “magician” (Le Monde), a “phenomenon” or a “star of classical percussion” (Radio Classique). Through her concerts, she helps to introduce the marimba, an instrument still rare on classical music stages. Her repertoire, spanning from Bach to contemporary creation, highlights the full richness of this instrument. Her playing reveals its tones, at times soft, warm or brilliant.
