Theater: Siss and Unn. Siss and Unn meet at thirteen years old, in the school courtyard. Unn’s arrival at the village school surprises the whole class and shakes Siss’s life. Unn is a different, quiet, slightly out-of-sync boy. A boy whose social codes, reactions, and silences seem to escape others. Unn is presumably neurodivergent, someone who understands and feels the world differently. In front of him is Siss. Siss, the sunny teen, someone who loves to be around people, laugh, take up space, and draw attention. She knows the rules of social play, she knows how to shine…
