Theatre | In Praise of Idleness

Show · Saturday, October 31 · 20:30 · Bergerac

Auditorium François Mitterrand, 23 Boulevard Henri Sicard

Rehabilitating idleness as a space of resistance. Idleness is not emptiness but a space of freedom. In a world that demands productivity, speed, and constant usefulness, slowing down becomes an act of resistance. Doing nothing is still doing something: thinking, dreaming, observing, feeling, letting the imagination take its place. The stage thus becomes the territory of a man who claims the right to slow down, to waste time, and to exist differently. By reservation.
