We saw and loved the Gianni Versace Retrospective exhibition at the Maillol Museum.

Culture · Tuesday, September 29 · 10:30 · Paris

Musée Maillol, 59-61, rue de Grenelle

Gianni Versace is the glamorous fashion designer of the 1980s–1990s, known for "That Dress"—the famous black pin-dress worn by Liz Hurley, the Barocco black-and-gold print, and campaigns featuring Madonna. The Maillol Museum (7th arrondissement) is presenting his most fascinating creations until October 31. What is it about? 120 silhouettes and 600 objects and archives for a total immersion in Gianni Versace's universe. The rooms unfold to first showcase fabrics that defined his work, then the artists who inspired him, and the campaigns that followed.
