SALLE DES FÊTES
Etienne Manceau and Mathieu Despoisse embark on this domestic epic. Pling-Klang stages this versatile circus duo as they confront social norms and expectations, while talking about the couple and assembling a piece of furniture… as a couple. Does that sound familiar? You’re invited to a Swedish-style ping-pong! The assembly of this IKEA furniture, as real as it is symbolic, becomes a pretext for intimate confidences, between humor and gravity. Their aim: to solve the puzzle in the manner of a romantic plot. Will they manage to gather the scattered pieces to build something that holds together?
