After having celebrated on stage the novel Réparer les vivants by Maylis de Kerangal, Emmanuel Noblet takes on another masterpiece of contemporary French literature, Article 353 du Code pénal, by Tanguy Viel. The port of Brest, the residents’ investment dreams, bankruptcy, fraud… The setting of this Finistère noir is laid out. For having thrown Antoine Lazenec’s body into the sea, Martial Kermeur has just been arrested by the police. In front of the judge (portrayed by Emmanuel Noblet alternating with Philippe Baronnet), he retraces the sequence of events that led him to this.
