Jean-François Bauret (1932-2014) is one of the French photographers most known of his generation. He is mainly remembered for his nudes and his work for advertising. In his commissions as in his personal searches, he employs stripped-down compositions, showing bodies in a direct way and playing on the contrasts of black and white.
