Before writing and performing his songs, Nicolas Moro was a versatile multi-instrumentalist in several groups, most notably Opa Tsupa for fifteen years. He draws inspiration from the great figures of chanson and is a seasoned guitarist mainly influenced by American music from the early twentieth century, creating a universe where the two worlds blend together quite naturally. A clear fusion between the French language and a bluesy, swinging, folk sound carried by his warm, unpretentious voice, in which he asserts himself as a songwriter-performer with a sharp pen.
