Festival Résurgence X - workshop "the writing systems and the public sphere"

33 Avenue Louis Mazet

The artist René-Philippe Deswattenne will begin by recounting the history of the alphabet, will show what the ductus is (natural gestures dictated by the nature of the tool used) and will present the different calligraphic approaches. Once these explanations are given, the goal will be to have fun and let your personal expression flow to make the letters dance! After the workshop, come meet the artist at the closing of the exhibition Tout public, for ages 11 and up. Reservation required.
