On June 19, 1985, at dawn, a car veers off the road and catches fire. The narrator loses her father and mother. She is eight years old. This one-woman show performed by the author is an adaptation of Céline Milliat Baumgartner's autobiographical novel. From then on, everything is done to push away the absence: the warmth of a new home, a compassion that is used up, a status that protects, makes one unique, unattainable. A nearly normal childhood, except that everything leads back to emptiness.
