Three human “terlinguists” translate for us a strange letter: in the far North, a herd of reindeer suffers the effects of climate change. A female, Inger-Mari, is sent as an emissary by her herd to try to understand what is happening. She crosses Europe to the South and writes in epistolary form about her journey to her sisters left in the homeland. At each step of her journey, she encounters other entities also prey to the ‘great acceleration’. As the journey progresses, the convoy grows, encounters struggles, adaptations, and attempts at solutions…
