Vieux - Duo of Songs from Haute Bretagne

Vieux is a vocal duo whose songs are somewhat old, having fermented a bit. You will notably hear call-and-response chants from Mené, the almost-flat mountain in the Gallо country in Côtes-d’Armor. Traditionally, you will be invited to respond to strange refrains, but the bulk of the vocal work will be carried by Louise Genin (vocals) and Jérémie Chapelain (vocals and small guitar). The idea is to play with transmission, to try out new empathies, and to sing, simply, with ghosts.
