The City at Work: Photographs by Anna Chojnacka in Katowice

Resulting from a partnership with the Katowice History Museum, this exhibition highlights the works of Anna Chojnacka (1914-2007), a Polish photographer whose works are in major institutions such as the MET in New York. It is her first retrospective in France, after travels around the world. The selection presented is a tiny part of the 2,500 photographs and 18,000 negatives preserved by the Katowice History Museum, the institution to which Anna Chojnacka entrusted her artistic legacy through purchases and donations between 1989 and 2007.
