By playfully subverting the codes of musical comedy, Ensemble Volta explores love in all its complexity. Between humor, emotion and choir energy, the tunes of West Side Story and The Young Ladies of Rochefort converse with other musical worlds to compose a vibrant and sensitive show. Driven by bold staging, this concert-theater makes the beauty, contradictions and drives of romantic feeling resonate.
