ANNA G. Counter-Investigation

1 Pl. de Bel Ébat 78280 Guyancourt

This show is based on a true story: that of Anna Göldi, the last woman executed for witchcraft in Europe, in 1782. But rather than simply recount her fate, the performance offers a vivid plunge into an investigation full of shadows, contradictory testimonies, and mystery. On stage, two journalists seek to reconstruct the history. They replay, transform, question the events, and, gradually, their investigation moves them. Eras mingle, perspectives shift, and the audience is invited to enter this exploration, between reality and imagination.
