Hai! A Show by the Miam Miam Company
Show · Tuesday, November 3 · 20:00 · Étang-sur-Arroux
Lycée de la Nature et de la Forêt, 61 Rue de Saint-Didier
A farmer's daughter flees the family farm hoping to make as much money as possible: heading to HEC. But her final-year internship in Dubai selling yachts leaves her perplexed. Returning to the farm, a conversation with her grandmother about our farming model and the ravages of land consolidation, synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and other fungicides changes her perspective: happiness lies in the fields, but only if we rethink it. This is what this intimate play, close to stand-up, tells—grappling with the big questions that shake up our countryside.
