Dismantling the canons of the female trio, the timbres adjust on the thread to weave in several languages, across multiple rhythms, a strange sonic matter. If not voices, then feet and hands beat to anchor us to the earth and to fasten the soul to the body. The rhythm is everywhere, carried by the accordion and an arsenal of percussion from elsewhere. A repertoire nourished by the lives of each, an invocation to elemental powers, to nature, to dance and to celebration!
