We are made of patches and stitched-together pieces. That is our strength. In the face of collective powerlessness, this project offers a simple and concrete action: repair. Inspired by the Japanese boro, a popular technique of repair and textile reuse, the collaborative work is made from worn clothes, scraps and reclaimed fabrics. Each participant learns a useful gesture: darn, apply a patch, embroider a word, reinforce a fabric.
