Show - A Corner of Paradise - Groupe Grenade
Show · Tuesday, November 3 · 20:00 · Aix-en-Provence
380 avenue Max Juvénal, Grand Théâtre de Provence
With her Groupe Grenade, Josette Baïz continually ventures into the unknown and oscillates between her own choreographies and those of iconic artists, French and international. She now takes on the challenge of conveying to her young dancers the bustling universe of Paradis, a piece steeped in wonder, surprise, and a touch of baroque. On a gestural score as inventive as it is delicate, they alternatingly embrace classical and contemporary dance, African dance, hip-hop and breakdance. A tour de force, and a lovely homage in the shape of a wink...
