Garçons-Blockhaus

Théâtre Ouvert, 159 Avenue Gambetta

Garçons-Blockhaus is a fugue of margins poetry and provocative punchlines. In the end, to survive. The story of a poor teenager who takes you into the blockhouse of his seaside town Cassos-sur-Mer, meeting his too-loved brother, along streets where begging pays off, in a girlfriend’s room, under the remnants of the Occupation, up to the football field where a fantasized bad boy harasses or saves, to end in the arms of a sugar banker and flee toward the big city — to the sweet sound of waves and bundles.
