Dina Vierny, a free voice

Théâtre de l'Atelier Bleu

With Stéphanie Acquette, directed by Sylvie Pothier, Dina Vierny, a free voice traces the singular journey of Dina Vierny, a major figure in 20th-century art. Russian émigrée, Jewish, muse of Maillol, friend of the surrealists, resistant, singer, collector and founder of a museum, she was above all a woman who opposed the violence of History with an uncompromising freedom. Through text and music, the show makes audible an inspiring voice freed from assigned roles, whose artistic and political engagement marks her century.
