Kalamazz’out is a group of French songs with jazz influences: from swing to bossa with gypsy touches for the dynamics. Originating from Limousin, there are 4 amateur musicians who came together around this common project. Kalamazz’out is a neologism derived from the contraction of 3 words: Kalamazoo (a city in Michigan where the famous Gipson guitars were manufactured), jazz and “out” (a way of playing notes outside of the scale).
