The Secrets of the Meduse - Geoffrey Callènes and Antoine Guiraud
Culture · Thursday, December 3 · 20:30 · Vesoul
Théâtre François Villon, Cours François Villon
In 1816, sailor Costes boards the frigate La Méduse bound for Africa. After the shipwreck caused by the captain's incompetence, Costes and 150 men are abandoned on a makeshift raft. Thirteen days adrift, without water or food, under heat and facing storms and sharks, turning them into survivors willing to do anything to live. Inspired by a historical fact, the narrative becomes a fable about the injustice and cynicism of the powerful.
