After staying in Jerusalem from 2014 to 2020, Claire Bastier, poet and storyteller, has travelled to Jerusalem several times since October 7, 2023, collecting the words and sounds of daily life in the Israeli and Palestinian communities. By bringing this material back to us with the possibility of interpretation, she subjects its density to two improvising artists who will not let the everyday tragedy freeze, and who decide to approach it through vocal improvisation for Catherine Jauniaux, or electro-acoustics for François Wong.
