Arca ostinata [From a lament, from a petenera] / Musical activation of Nina Laisné's work
Music · Saturday, December 5 · 14:00 · Besançon
12 Avenue Arthur Gaulard, Frac Franche-Comté
The theorbo, instrument of the lute family dating from the 16th century, is as much a soloist as its own accompanist. Musician Daniel Zapico and Nina Laisné invite the public for a journey through the history of plucked strings, from early Baroque to South American folklores. At the heart of the scenography of Arca ostinata, a work presented in the exhibition un monde renversé, the theorbo is imagined as a cathedral in a game of musical anamorphoses and altered timbres.
