JUSTE IRENA - Cie Paname Pilotis
Show · Tuesday, November 17 · 20:00 · Grande-Synthe
6 rue Garnier 59760 Grande Synthe
An elderly Polish woman lives in a retirement home. Her name is Irena, and no one would guess the heroic deeds she carried out during World War II: saving 2,500 Jewish children from the Warsaw Ghetto and halting their deportation. As three Kansas students investigate the true story of this heroine, Irena reconstructs the fragments of a fading memory and tells of yesterday’s pains to heal today’s wounds, so that the unimaginable remains etched forever.
