Show · Sunday, November 15 · 15:00 · Billère
Salle Robert de Lacaze, Rue de la Mairie
As part of the THEATRE et HISTOIRE festival Distract, astonish, learn… Hélène and Odile meet on the school benches. Very young, they write to each other. The letters circulate, vivid, free, intimate. Then History intervenes. In 1942, Odile leaves. Hélène stays. Staying becomes a choice. Writing becomes an act. In Paris, she keeps a Journal, a testimony of a threatened daily life. A friendship facing persecution. A youth facing violence. Two voices facing erasure. A sensitive show to transmit an essential memory… and never forget.
