Marseille-Cassis Race

Start is given in front of the Stade Orange Velodrome in Marseille. Runners then take the Gineste road, crossing the Calanques National Park. The course climbs to the Col de la Gineste (327 m above sea level) after a demanding 5 km climb, before descending towards Cassis for a finish on Route des Albizzi. The route offers a positive and negative elevation change of about 330 meters, making the race as technically challenging as it is spectacular.
